ANATOMY OF ANXIETY

These works speak to the eternal human longing for unity, and the search for meaning in our lives. They are born from the restless mind and the tired body, from the constant negotiation between desire and limitation.

Iron is my language: heavy, dark, unyielding — yet brittle, fragile, easily broken. Five rings, a crown, and a chair emerge from this material, symbols of power, control, and the struggle to master one’s own body. Each form centers on a point, a quiet gravity, reflecting the pursuit of balance — spiritual, physical, existential.

Meaning is not given — it must be claimed, shaped through our own actions. These pieces are my attempt to give it form.

For me, the act of making is vital, a way of being. I perceive the world through touch, through material, through the body’s dialogue with its surroundings. Working with these forms brings not only physical grounding but a kind of spiritual release — a recognition, a small reconciliation with myself and the world I inhabit.
